Job Description

Facebook is looking for a strong, experienced leader to manage our Scaled sales team and take on overall revenue responsibility for Japan. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in managing scaled teams and marketing to Scaled clients. Success in this position requires a passion for working with the partner ecosystem, strong analytical skills, a focus on client service, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment. This role will report to the VP of APAC, Global Business Group - Scaled and is located in our Singapore office.
Director of Global Business Group - Scaled, Japan Responsibilities

  • Integral part of Senior Leadership team, partner with Japan's Country Director and key contributor to building the strategic direction of Facebook's overall business in Japan

  • Play a critical role in building, inspiring, training and managing a talented, motivated, and highly consultative sales team

  • Build and manage 3rd party ecosystem to drive partnerships and advertiser/revenue growth through Meta business partners and agencies

  • Represent Meta at industry and external press/policy events - be seen as an industry thought leader and trusted peer by executives across a diverse slate of scaled and medium- to large-d companies and brands

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue with new and existing customers

  • Execute projects involving industry research, strategy development and quantitative analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience building and managing sales teams

  • Ability to build strong relationships at the executive level across the business both internally and externally

  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with a strong focus on collaboration

  • Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment

  • Experience building and leading teams, characterized by a culture of inclusion and a growth mindset

  • Fluency in English and in Japanese is essential as a successful candidate will be working closely with clients based in Japan where communications are generally made in Japanese

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the business landscape in Japan

  • Experience with online advertising sales

  • Knowledge of 3rd party channels including Meta business partners and agencies

  • Analytical and strategic planning background
