About the Role
This exciting new role has been created as a result of our partnership with the Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAST) initiative (www.fastinitiative.org), the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research and our work as Secretariat of the Bali Process Government and Business Forum. As Engagement Manager you will lead and support the financial sector to combat forced labour in supply chains by fostering uptake and implementation of the priorities set out in the FAST Blueprint for Mobilizing Finance Against Slavery and Trafficking.
You are a passionate human rights advocate and a visible change maker with established networks in the Asia Pacific financial and corporate sector. Your background will be in Sustainability, ESG Investing or Human Rights. You may also specialise in Climate Change and Corporate Responsibility. Ideally based in Singapore with a regional remit, you will work with financial institutions, corporates and civil society to raise awareness of human trafficking and modern slavery in the Asia Pacific region and the financial sector’s role in combatting it.
