As a Workforce Development Engineer in the Technology & Products (TPG) organization, you will be responsible for collaborating with management, engineering, and manufacturing team members to develop and deploy technical training programs and resources.In this position, you will work with department leaders to identify current and future technical training opportunities. You will conduct needs assessments and analyses to support both short-term and long-term technical training needs. You will monitor the effectiveness of technical training courses and work with department personnel to evaluate and improve existing training.You will collaborate with team members across the global manufacturing organization to cross-train and transfer training materials for use at other sites.In the first year, this position will also have responsibilities supporting technical onboarding and on-the-job training (OJT) for the TPG teams in Singapore. Some limited travel may be involved.
Successful candidate for this position will have:
  • The ability to understand technical issues and work with team members at all levels in the organization
  • The ability to convey technical concepts and information in a meaningful way to audiences with a wide range of technical backgrounds
  • Skills in course design and development, and have strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective project management background with proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and meet established deadlines
  • Good writing, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation and direction with a high level of initiative
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Experience in course development and instructionis a plus

Education and Experience:
  • BS in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
  • Minimum of five years semiconductor experience in any of the following domains: fabrication process, layout, physical design, backend testing, and reliability
