THE OPPORTUNITY:

In this role, you will responsible to develop and execute site specific Reliability Excellence programs to generate business value in terms of reduction in deviations due to equipment failures, optimize the usage of IPT maintenance resources, M&R cost reduction, etc. Leverage on knowledge/resources/best practices from Global Reliability Engineering group and on other sites more advance in this. Besides, you will organize, plan and direct site capital and/or expense projects as well as equipment change control, to ensure equipment, systems and facilities are safe, efficiently utilized, reliable and meet GMP/ regulatory/ production requirements.


You will also responsible to develop, maintain and improve the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling business flow process. Improve maintenance work force productivity and quality of work by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. Leverage on knowledge/resources/best practices from site reliability/Global Reliability Engineering group and on other sites more advance in this.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Reliability & Planning

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and able to define the scope and boundary when given or even when not clear.
  • Develops knowledge of the Safety, Quality and Engineering standards or applicable regulations and apply them when carrying out assigned tasks.
  • Develop/ execute A3 for reliability program and provide routine update (progress/challenges) to the management.
  • Align the reliability A3 program to the site goals particularly to support site’s vison to be World Class Supplier in terms of highest quality product, at lowest cost, shortest lead time in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Conducts Maintenance effectiveness / optimization reviews along with IPT maintenance leads/Engineers/Technicians
  • Conduct RCA, lead/participate in equipment failure troubleshooting and implement action plan for equipment reliability
  • Work with IPT maintenance leads/Engineers/Technicians to adjust equipment task lists, spare parts, frequencies, and information as appropriate based on trends, approved changes, and/or business requirements.
  • Supports direct supervisor to execute activities to meet site reliability targets.
  • Demonstrated project management skills while executing projects or change control to work in cross functional team to complete project successfully.
  • Leads in the selection of process equipment and production/utilities systems for the assigned project
  • Lead feasibility studies/reviews, hazards and operability studies/reviews on new and modified processes
  • Work with cross functional team to develop maintenance procedures and associated documentation (e.g URS, design specifications, equipment data, PID drawings) for new and modified process equipment
  • Performs jobs assigned by Supervisor pertaining to installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment, with adherence to site change control procedures or minor projects

Planning & Scheduling

  • Ensure materials required for the job are stock items, or if material needs to be requisitioned or expedited.
  • Lead discussion with planners and/or operation lead or delegate for scheduling of jobs and if shutdown or window is necessary.
  • Constantly seek ideas, new ways to improve maintenance technician’s Wrench Time
  • Understand the spares inventory system and seek improvement like linking the spare parts/materials required for the job to the CMMS task list and respective equipment, ensure they are always kept up to date.
  • Perform review of the job plans/task list on routine basis and ensure updated task lists are reflected in CMMS.
  • Maintain and sustain system to track the data for KPI reports and including daily update of PM/CAL status
  • Review and adjusts job priorities as needed to meet production schedule.
  • Lead the design in the proactive maintenance plan such as PM and PdM.
  • Analyze historical PM/CAL/CM data, based on the analysis outcome to optimize the PMs and CAL.
  • Develop / optimize cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
  • Continually improve planning, scheduling, purchasing, data management to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement/sharing the best practices/techniques amongst the sites.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Senior Manager / Director

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this role, you should poses Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science Discipline with minimum 6-8 years (Bachelor Degree) in the Pharmaceutical or Chemical or Manufacturing Industry. Other required skill set include:

  • Analytical and Problems solving skill with regard to mechanical or E&I equipment and it's use within a manufacturing or utilities process
  • Hands on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical or E&I equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety and GMP regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP/MAXIMO
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to locate and/or rank problem assets in an effort to lower maintenance costs
  • Basic experience in utilizing predictive maintenance technologies to identify machinery condition for the purpose of preventing emergency repairs
