Job Description

The Enterprise Application Manager is responsible for leading the Enterprise Application section, with the mandate of managing projects, development and enhancements to support STC business operations. He / she will lead the team to ensure close interlock and quality solutioning between BT and Business to identify underlying issues and manage existing systems including application. The role is expected to lead the effort to be an effective Business partner, enabling productivity and performance by underpinning and supporting related transactions and activities across the organization.
People Management:
  • Build long-term working relationships across departments / sections and promote cross team collaboration.
  • Manage, coach and mentor the team and support an environment in which all personnel can develop and apply their skills to meet individual and department goals.
  • Set performance targets and evaluate delivery against targets. Counsel staff in career / performance development.
  • Enforce / ensure corporate and department standards, policies and guidelines within the team.

General Management:
  • Plan, assign resources and lead the team in implementing projects, application development / enhancements to support the Business.
  • Provide application support, track schedules, and oversee the implementation of enhancements and application support.
  • Develop the ERP platforms, align with target state blueprints for business, applications, and infrastructure.
  • Plan and maintain budget for enterprise applications and prepare reports for management.
  • Work closely with the business to translate present and future business needs and requirements into technical solutions that meet business requirements and budget.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align section's objectives to Business imperatives.
  • Responsible for the performance of the ERP section, including the setting, monitoring and ongoing management of KPIs and other metrics.

Service Operations and Delivery Management:
  • Monitor and manage overall service and delivery operations for the section.
  • Lead the planning and oversee coordination of projects and new system launch / enhancements including preparing cost estimates, managing schedules and allocating resources.
  • Review and analyse requirements with team and vendors to propose effective solution and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Review and approve specifications, documentations and resolve conflicts and issues.
  • Identify and escalate project risks, adhering to processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Provide advice on complex issues and lead team to resolve reported problems / bugs.
  • Supervise team in mission critical system recovery and contingency support, lead the team in problem resolution and investigation and identify additional resources that are needed to carry out recovery operation.

  • Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Science / Related IT Discipline.
  • Expertise in technical domain knowledge and good understanding of underlying business processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Applications in the Gaming industry.
  • 10-12 years of proven experience in managing a team mandated with driving application development / enhancement.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in managing enterprise level projects.
  • Proven experience in facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.
  • Strong experience in working with and managing vendors.

This position will be hired under Singapore Pools (Private) Limited, seconded to Singapore Turf Club.
