Field Engineer - Desktop, Laptop Support engineer, with Microsoft product experience

What success looks like in this role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops, network devices, patching and cable connectivity
  • supporting remote teams accountable for monitoring and running these services through the provision of a local technical resources.
  • Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripherals
  • AV (audio visual) support for VIP meetings, exposure to creating broadcast links in Teams.
  • Prepare and send newsletters and also conduct training for new users on the tools available for new users.
  • Supports network products from operational and maintenance perspectives
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.
  • Provide local support for Executive events
  • Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.
  • Provide support for local business initiatives, projects and as well as support to land in-scope
  • Global Support technology experiences and investments, including but not limited to physical infrastructure deployment and installations.
You will be successful in this role if you have:

Technical and Behavioral Skills

  • High School diploma or GED required. Background investigation and drug screen required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a hands-on desk side support role required.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance (if driving required for position).
  • Proficient with PC hardware repair and can troubleshoot/resolve Microsoft Office software and latest Windows operating system issues.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills required. - mandatory
  • A+, Lenovo, Dell, Microsoft and HP certifications a plus.
  • Client and/or governmental clearance may also be required.
  • Microsoft Product Knowledge is Mandatory
