About the Department
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.
Job Responsibilities
Job Objectives
The Process Assurance Team is within Group Markets & Enterprise Technology (GMET), supporting bank's Project, Development and Technology Delivery teams to ensure process compliance to System Development Methodology (SDM) process
The team acts as an assurance gate for SDM major milestones to ensure entry & exit criteria are met and is responsible to review the quality of the artefacts such as functional & design specification, testing documents and others project deliverables
The successful candidate will be leading the GMET SDM Process Assurance team and working with Program, Project and Technical Delivery Managers to ensure high quality of project & change deliverables
Key Responsibilities
. Manage and lead the SDM Process Assurance team
. Oversee the conduct of Process Assurance reviews to ensure the Project and Quarterly Release changes meet SDM standards
. Oversee investigations of non-compliance and risks identified from IT audits & assessments
. Develop and enhance Process Assurance framework and processes based on an evaluation of gaps in IT audits & assessments
. Ensure robustness of internal controls and alignment with changing compliance standards
. Develop procedures for documenting and updating policies, standards and guidelines
. Manage Project and Technology Delivery team engagement, and to provide proactive, timely, effective and efficient support to Project and Technology Delivery teams
. Act as the subject matter expert to assess and manage project & change delivery associated risks and identified gaps
. Provide guidance on bank's processes and practices, and facilitate conversations around System Development Methodology (SDM) standards.
. Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting to review production change impact and implementation
. Own all issues, and manage communication to stakeholders and senior management
. Develop and maintain close level of working relationships with senior management and IT partners
. Support and drive relentless any Group and Division initiatives.
Job Requirements
. Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines.
. More than 10 years of hands on application development experience in the banking industry, preferably led a development team before.
. Good understanding of the processes of software development, such as Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
. Independent, proactive and self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
. Strong analytical and good problem solving skills.
. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
. Prior experience in IT risk management and security will be added advantage
