- Handle, in a proper and timely manner, fraud alerts generated by the FSS
- Escalate and assist, where necessary, in the closure of alerts
- Coordinate scheduled assessments on the performance of the FSU Program
- Provide feedback and support to the FSU Manager and Deputy Manager on the management of the FSU parameters and modelling thresholds
- Provide information and data in the preparation of the FSU Program's established MIS
- Adhere to capacity plans for the team, including shift schedules, processing turnaround times, departmental Activity Based Capacity planning etc
- Provide feedback on post-event advisories, to both internal/external customers and/or internal stakeholders
- Assist by providing modus information for preparation preliminary investigation reports
- Actively support the Group's Fraud Risk Management strategy and functions
- Support FSS projects UAT testing
This is a 1-year contract (renewable) position and the incumbent will be working a 5-day work week.The team is operating on a 24/7 basis, and each incumbent will be expected to work a 8.5 hour shift. Shift timings are as follows: 7.30amto5.00pm,1.30pm to 11.00pm, 10.30pmto8.00am. Qualifications
- University Degree or equivalent preferred
- Typically have 1-2 years experience in transactional monitoring, with knowledge of banking products and channels an added advantage
- Knowledge of either consumer and corporate banking, knowledge of private bank is a plus
- Basic knowledge of how fraud rules work and the key fraud indicators
- Analytical and self-initiated to resolve issues, with demonstrated ability to understand and identify appropriate solutions and/or alternatives
- Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other necessary applications
- Demonstrates success in working independently and within a team, with leadership potential apparent
- Able to work under intense pressure
- Additional language skills are advantageous for this post but not essential
- Proficient level of interpersonal and communication skills
