Group Business focuses on protecting businesses and their employees. As part of the Group Business Claims team, you are responsible to ensure that our customers have a smooth and hassle-free claim experience when dealing with Income.

  • Create great claim experiences which translates to increased customer satisfaction. This primarily includes:
    • Providing accurate advice & information to general customer enquiries about our Group Business (both Employee Benefits & Affinity) products. This includes coverage of the product, terms & conditions and exclusions as well as claims related queries.
    • You will also be responsible for addressing claim specific queries & escalations in an accurate and timely manner. The queries & escalations may come in various modes such as emails, calls and escalations from internal colleagues and external parties. You will need to coordinate & liaise with both external & internal stakeholders to ensure issues are efficiently addressed. Customer includes intermediaries (brokers, agents etc), authorised personnel acting on behalf of their company and individual customers.
  • Process simple Group Business claims within the stipulated timeline
  • Perform administrative functions (sorting of mails, scanning, uploading of documents, filing, archival of documents etc) as and when required
  • Perform outbound calls to clinic on need basis
  • Take on ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned to support the Claims team
  • Take on ad-hoc IT matters, testing as and when required
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline with an interest in the insurance sector
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Employee Benefits/Affinity - can be in Customer Service or Claims department
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Ability to work with tight timelines and under pressure
  • Keen eye for detail and is highly organised around multiple priorities & timelines
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Certifications in HI, BCP, PGI is required
