Job Purpose and Impact

Cargill Trade & Capital Markets (TCM) provides financial solutions that facilitate trade and mitigate trade-related risks for companies doing business in emerging and developed markets. We work closely with customers, often including other Cargill businesses, to create financing structures that enable the buying and selling of agricultural and other commodities while mitigating risks associated with cross-border transactions.
The TCM Global Reporting Analyst will be involved in developing a strong management information system to standardize and optimize reports and processes while catering to the changing business conditions and needs. In this role, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of how the business measures and gauges its performance, look for opportunities for process improvements in various management reporting processes and projects and collaborate with other teams to integrate indicators and metrics into reports to measure business success across the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for delivery and streamlining specific management reports and identify potential business insights from the financial and management data to be incorporated to measure and/or enhance business decision-making.
  • Develop strong and collaborative partnerships within the team and with other teams to provide support for financial metrics and other business indicators.
  • Design reports and dashboards to track performance against plan, budget, forecast and other key performance indicators. This will likely involve analyzing and making sense of a high volume of complex and seemingly conflicting data.
  • Collaborate with other partners in cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals of the business.
  • Responsible for specific tasks or project goals relating to improving data quality, cleaning data, and enhancing data integrity and usefulness.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of three years of related work experience

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leveraging financial and business systems to gather necessary data on business activity and performance.

  • Experience with spreadsheets, python, macros, visualization and business intelligence tools
