Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Manage infrastructure services, including
  • Technology infrastructure
  • Market data systems
  • Dealing channels
  • Dealer board system
  • GT Server rooms
  • Business continuity management
  • Premises
  • Co-ordinate IT logistics and liaise with both IT and end-users on enhancements/requirements
  • Prepare solution/project/delivery/implementation plans, engage the appropriate teams and prepare cost estimates for approval for infrastructure, premise and business continuity management projects: manage the project till implementation
  • Prepare and manage infrastructure budget
  • Qualifications

    Requirements:
    1. Years of working experience :8-10 years
    2. Professional qualifications: Degree in computer engineering or equivalent, preferably, with a ITIL certification
    3. Knowledge / skills
    • Willing and able to operate effectively in a leadership position or as a team player
    • Good knowledge in Windows and Unix operating systems, network infrastructure, market data services, dealer board system
    • Strong knowledge in project management
    • Strong knowledge of Treasury systems and infrastructure requirements
    • Familiar with general banking solutions/policies and requirements such as outsourcing and procurement
    • Knowledge in web technology and application would be an advantage
    • Able to translate business requirements into tangible IT solutions
    • Identify new tools and technical solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Personal attributes
    • High level of customer service and good interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and report writing skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communications skills good listener
    • Able to see the big picture, yet have good attention to detail
    • Willing to be hands-on at times
    • Able to multi-task with different projects, comfortable with handling ad hoc assignments and have good project management skills
    • Able to manage a team and to effectively prioritise deliverables
    • Able to take in all views before making considered decisions
    • Come with solutions to issues
    • Strong liaison skills with IT, the business, and the various business support units

    5. Others (e.g. willing to work shift hours etc.)
    • May need to work extra and/or shift hours, including weekends, as required
    • May need to travel to GT overseas centres
    • Interact closely with both the Treasury dealers as well as vendors
