As a HR Business Partner for Electrification business in Singapore, you are accountable for the overall HR contribution, value adding to the business and translating business goals into HR priorities. The role will provide HR support to employees and managers to ensure effective and sustainable workplace relations and performance. Reporting to the Business Leader, you will translate business goals into HR priorities and ensure effective implementation in collaboration with the Centers of Expertise and global business services.   • Understanding the Business drivers, current and long-term strategy and identify opportunities for HR to add value to the Business. Ensuring people and organizational capabilities required in the mid- long term are understood and actioned. Ensure that the business positions in the short term are adequately staffed to meet or exceed the annual business targets.Implementing the operating model and optimize organization structures and principles in line with group and global rules and standards, including the ABB Job Structure.
  • Building performance culture in the organization Implement group and global business performance standards, KPIs, and targets to enhance business performance. Ensuring development actions are in place to support business strategy and support business managers by implementing the development activities
  • Supporting managership development and fostering good managership culture for the organization.
  • Partnering with managers and employees to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies. Counsel managers and employees on the most effective solutions to resolve issues
  • Acting as consultant, sparring partner, coach, and facilitator to business managers
Your background

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in HR, demonstrating broad HR Functional knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field related to Human Resources
  • Business oriented and dynamic approach in managing HR topics
  • Strategic mindset and passion to drive results through people
  • can-do attitude, problem solving and strong drive for delivering results
  • Ability to manage multiple demands on your time and to work in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
