As the HR Coordinator (APAC) , you will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day activities in the Human Resources Department
- Assist to handle new hire on-boarding/ off-boarding processes including background screening, employment offers, new hire setup and enrolment, and compliance training
- Manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations and other related matters
- Manage HR audits and administer customer audits, and administer HRIS (Oracle)
- Assists in the coordination of all employee training activities
- Assists in engaging Employee Engagement and D&I activities
- Ensure that policies and processes are aligned with local legislations, organisational goals and business objectives
- Assists in payroll administration, CPF submission, IR21, IR8A annual Income Tax Assessment and staff claims
- Assists in administration duties such as liaison with vendors, postal, dispatch arrangements, and receiving phone calls
- Provide constructive advice to department managers to facilitate employee relations by addressing their grievances
- Other HR Related projects as assigned
about the manager/team
Reporting to the VP of HR, you will be part of the APAC HR team supporting the full spectrum of HR Functions, which includes onboarding and off-boarding, benefits and compensation administration, monthly reporting, employee engagement, D&I, HR statutory compliance, learning and development, performance management, and day-to-day human resource operations.
skills and experience required
To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor Degree, within areas of Human Resources, or related disciplines, with at least 2-3 years of relevant Human Resources Development experience, with an excellent understanding and knowledge of labor law and local tax regulations.
