Job Description



Responsibilities
IT Governance
  • Develop, improve and maintain IT governance documents (i.e. policies, standards, procedures, guidelines) to ensure its relevance, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (MAS TRM, MAS Cyber Hygiene, MAS Outsourcing, Personal Data Protection Act, etc.) and industry advisories (LIA, GIA, ABS, etc.).
  • Maintain IT Governance Documents Masterlist to ensure timely review and endorsement (i.e. trigger review, chase for approval, format alignment, maintain document repository, etc).
  • Develop a unified Income IT policy/standard.
  • Monitor and review exceptions and deviations from IT governance documents. Track and follow up upon expiry for renewal and cancellations.
  • Maintain End-User Application Inventory list annually (i.e. trigger review, chase for approval & evidence submission, maintain evidence repository, etc)
  • Maintain IT governance documents and ITGRA on-boarding site for all new staff in Sharepoint.
  • Maintain the automation process & documentation for the auto-trigger of document review via Sharepoint (i.e. trigger review, status tracking, notifications/reminders, routing to reviewers/approvers, publication of approved documents.
  • Provide IT policy liaison support to IT and Business stakeholders, including communication and interpretation of policy requirements, organizational change, maintenance of enterprise IT policy and controls framework, and monitoring of IT governance alignment.
  • Develop or enhance established awareness processes on compliance to IT governance policies and standards via outreach sharings, email broadcasts, quizzes, etc.
  • Support a continuous improvement culture through establishing, monitoring and reporting on policy governance metric targets.
  • Support audit related activities in relation to IT governance domain.

Others
  • Follow up on Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities.
  • Support on security awareness and phishing related activities.
  • Participate in any assignments as delegated.
  • Perform covering duties when team members are away.
Qualifications
  • Minimum diploma or degree in computer science, information management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably in Insurance / Financial industry.
  • Familiarity with MAS Technology Risk Management, Cyber Hygiene, MAS Outsourcing and MAS Business Continuity Management requirement is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Professional certification or specialization in IT Governance, IT Compliance, Business Continuity Management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possess good interpersonal, communication, presentation and problem solving skills to engage stakeholders from different businesses and levels.
  • Meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, function and deliver effectively in a fast-paced environment.
