M&E Coordinator

Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

  • To work and co-ordinate with design/construction teams for all M&E installation and system requirement matters
  • To attend E&M Co ordination Meeting and do minutes of meeting
  • To co-ordinate with Civil/BIM-teams & all SWC for station and viaduct CCSM/SEM drawing and submission
  • Ability to read and understand CAD, Revit/Navisworks software services in 3D model is essential
  • Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings
  • Manager in house E&M sub-contractor's work to ensure shop drawing and services well co-ordinated to suit sequence and installation
  • To be able to supervise and lead an installation team on E&M services installation in construction environment

Requirements :

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or Specialist Diploma in M&E Co ordination will be an advantage
  • 3-5 years experience as E&M Coordination in local construction firm/LTA-MRT Project
  • Good knowledge in local standards & requirements
  • Able to work independently with positive attitude
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of a design and build contract/project
