Job Description

. Assist the Director of Development in fundraising activities
. Work with internal stakeholders (faculty, programme offices) on gift opportunities
. Develop proposals and funding/gift ideas
. Manage donor stewardship (visits, special events, impact reports, interviews, acknowledgements) to engage and enhance donor experience to promote continued support
. Oversee gift administration and donor data management
. Manage financial matters, including department budget, financial reporting, donor pledges, fund disbursements and endowment spending limit
. Administer workflows and related guidelines, policies and processes
. Perform other duties as assigned


. A degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in fundraising or similar capacity
. Creative problem solving and good project management skills
. Good understanding of financial and data reporting
. Strong communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills in both English and Mandarin, due to frequent liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
. Internet savvy with good computer (Microsoft suite) skills
. Meticulous, self-motivated and positive personality
. Collaborative team player as well as individual contributor requiring minimum supervision
. Experience with SAP and other CRM software a plus
