Manager - Operations Excellence
In this role you will Identify and drive site operational excellence programs that improve the organization competency and culture for continuous improvement to drive safety, product and service quality, customer satisfaction level, competitive advantage and ability to innovate.
  • Drive the implementation of theBusiness System
  • Responsible to drive and implement operational excellence program to meet Organization's goals & KPIs. Focus will be to decrease operational cost, streamline processes, improve responsiveness and align continuous improvement activities within the site.
  • Responsible for building Lean Culture and provide Leadership in the area of CI for plant to achieve and sustain high level of effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Support management in business analysis, planning, strategize and execution of projects from operational / business excellence perspective.
  • Provide coaching & training on Lean / Six Sigma tools and methodologies
  • Plan and coordinate trainings for belt certifications
  • Organize and facilitate kaizen / Rapid Improvement Events
  • Conduct maturity assessment and develop action plans and work through implementations across the organization
  • Track and report the site operational excellence programs
  • Collaborate with regional OPEX Director and regional site directors to support LEAN/OPEX programs in Asia Pacific
  • Provide coaching and direction to LEAN engineer in driving activities
  • Ensure the high compliance of discipline, cGMP and 5S in the work areas
  • Uphold the west core values
  • Aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 8 years experience in operational excellence execution in a manufacturing environment
  • Black Belt certified, Master Black Belt advantageous
  • Possess good interpersonal, analytical, facilitation and communication skills, must be a team player
  • Strong leadership quality
  • Ability to engage shop floor employees on continuous improvement programs
  • Demonstrated ability in driving CI/LEAN/6 Sigma projects resulting in financial benefits
  • Experienced in statistical analysis tools, e.g. Minitab
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
