About You

The successful candidate will take ownership of the Multi-Cloud Management portfolios, recently rebranded VMware Aria which provides unified management, assessment, optimization and governance of multi-cloud environments across public, private and hybrid deployments.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing
As the Marketing Manager, Multi-Cloud Management APJ you will be:
  • Owning the VMware Multi-Cloud Management portfolio marketing plans and associated integrated Marketing programs that span across brand awareness, demand generation and sales acceleration
  • Deliver against the key marketing metrics set by the
  • Working collaboratively with Global & Field Marketing teams to drive marketing strategies, collaborate on messaging & content and execute campaigns
  • Aligning with the Sales team against the business priorities and goals
  • Manage budget spend against activities with measurable outcomes
  • Drive quarterly pipeline and consumption goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve and optimizing efficiencies in our pipeline
  • Track, measure and communicate program results, and seek to generate new global best practices

As part of the APJ VMware Marketing team you will:
  • Establish solid working relationships with senior executives, sales leadership and peers to create our uniquely differentiated value proposition
  • Be applying your analytical skills to track, measure and communicate program results
  • Seek to generate new global best practices or elevate the mindshare of this amongst our stakeholder
  • Demonstrate and apply your knowledge and experience in Enterprise software and services, SaaS, Digital marketing

Whatskills and experience will you need to be successful in this role:
  • Proven Marketing leadership and achievements in a global software organization preferably in a SaaS environment
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in marketing with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong program management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate many simultaneous projects/activities, while keeping stakeholders updated on schedules and timelines
  • Ability to influence and collaborate in a highly matrixed global organization while taking ownership for clear and far-reaching decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to logically plan and set priorities, identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Ability to travel, including international (post Covid)

This role is part of the Solutions Marketing team, a high-performance and experienced team of marketers across APJ who are responsible for building and executing marketing campaigns and programs.
The team culture is one based on building trust and collaboration with regional and global peers, living up to our EPIC2 values, and above all delivering impactful business outcomes.
Where is this role located
While the preferred location is Singapore, the role is also open to be filled remotely and will not be assigned to a fixed office location. This means it could be done anywhere with a strong internet connection and limited distractions.
