About Global Markets Operations (GMO)

Global Markets Operations is the engine responsible for ensuring the execution and servicing of all products and services. Our core objective is to deliver service excellence by executing our processes in the safest and most efficient way, leveraging automation and Lean approaches to achieve this. Some of the core processes that we deliver include Post Trade Services, FX Operations, Collateral & Liquidity operations. The environment in which we operate is continually changing. Overall Purpose of Role

GMO Delivery Management ensures that the GMO change priorities are being driven from within and that we are influencing and contributing to the banks strategic and regulatory change agenda. We work across GMO Post Trade and Middle Office to articulate business cases for priorities and drive these through the internal sponsorship process. We perform impact assessments for change where GMO are affected across Markets. We define process change and areas of opportunity for improvements, strategic operating model changes, define governance models and implement change front to back across process and strategic architecture.

Key Accountabilities

· Arrange and setup project meetings for manager.

· Attend/Facilitate meetings, update project tracker, take meeting minutes and assist on following up on open actions.

· Learn and understand Ops flow and to understand the end-to-end solution and / or workarounds, to assist on delivering the required business outcomes.

To be considered for this program, you must:

· Be a Singapore citizen or PR.

· Have a Diploma/Degree in any discipline.

· Have at least 3 years working experience.


· Strong technical skills.

· Able to multi-task and prioritize.

· A proactive, self-starter, who can be relied upon to act on initiative.

· Ability to manage and understand stakeholder requirements and inputs.

· Strong commercial awareness and thinking.

· Strong skills in the use of documentation, planning and presentation software tools e.g. Advanced MS Office, SharePoint, Visio skills, MS Access.

Competencies to learn

· Achieve technical knowledge across end to end process.

· Learn to multi-task and prioritize.

· Learn to manage and understand stakeholder requirements and inputs.

· Obtain strong commercial awareness and problem solving skills.

Duration of traineeship/attachment: 6 months
