The Public Policy and Global Affairs Programme, School of Social Sciences, invites applications for part-time lecturers (PTLs). We are looking for PTLs who can contribute to teaching (conducting tutorials and assessment) the core courses in the Programme, specifically:
. Fundamentals of Politics
. Politics of Singapore
. Introduction to International Relations and Foreign Policy
. Introduction to Political Theory
. Introduction to Public Administration and Policy
Key Responsibilities:
. Attend lectures (to be discussed and agreed with course coordinator).
. Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course.
. Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts).
. Invigilate the final examination.
. Work closely with the course coordinator to handle students queries on course related matter.
Qualification and requirement:
. A least a Master Degree in social sciences, specialisation in a political science subfield will be an advantage.
. Some prior tutoring/lecturing experience will be an advantage.
. Able to tutor/lecture during office hours.
