The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) plays a crucial role towards Income's vision of insurance made different by leading innovative digital initiatives and building new business models to serve digital-first consumers and position Income for the future. Some examples include the first rainsurance in Singapore which protects individuals against fare surge on ride-hailing platforms and the first micro-insurance in Southeast Asia which offers flexible pay-per-trip micro premium and accumulative coverage for Grab drivers.
The Partner Success role is an impact focused role, focusing on planning and execution of top of agenda business projects including forming win-win collaborations with strategic partners across the region to propagate our regional digital solutions.
The opportunity is to work directly with senior stakeholders in Singapore and across the region, to drive and operationalise the strategy to scale new digital businesses for Income spanning all business lines. You are comfortable with ambiguity, have the ability to take a high level objective, apply a structure and create partnerships and programmes out of it. You will handle business negotiations in relation to DTO's businesses, prepare partnership materials, both internally and externally, to coordinate and follow-up on operational matters.
Key responsibilities include:

  • You are a hands-on manager, responsible for developing a pipeline of regional opportunities to fruition through partnerships. You will collaborate and empower regional in-market teams to deliveron ecosystem strategies, sharing best practices across markets, building and operationalising new processes to raise team performance

  • You are responsible for regional sales target, managing go-to-market strategies to ensure in-market partner adoption and revenues are optimised

  • You operate effectively across functional teams (e.g. Product, Actuarial, Legal) to execute all strategic partnerships and business development projects end to end, such as idea generation, deal structuring using data analysis and business modelling, deal negotiation, partner engagement and implementation plans, product launch plans, post-deal evaluation and relationship management

  • You love to think big and execute in detail, managing multiple partners and projects simultaneously. You are able to lead discussions and make decisions in complex environment. You are organised and work closely with stakeholdersto deliver in an agile manner

  • You have strong ownership and project management skills. You are a quick learner, self-motivated, result driven, logical and articulate
Qualifications
  • At least 5-8 years of work experience in regional business development/ partnerships/ channel sales within the insurance industry
  • Experience in fast paced sectors such as high growth startups driving transformational growth, able to travel 50% of the time
  • Relevant experience and network in fintech and insurance innovation space is a plus
  • Prior experience in P&L management, entrepreneurship, project management
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate solutioning and close partnership deals
  • Self-starter and self-driven who can work well in ambiguous and complex environment
