Role Overview

EMS is an international organisation with operations in Singapore. We are looking for a proactive, ambitious, and motivated individual with distinctive qualities to join our team as a Payroll Assistant to work alongside an Account Manager in the management of day to day operations of our Payroll Department ensuring a timely and accurate delivery of payroll services to our clients in APAC.
You will need to work well with others in a challenging environment, within a professional, motivated, and multi-cultural team around the world.

Applicants will need to have the right to work in Singapore.  
Key Qualifications / Experience
o Any office working experience is preferred
o Experience in Payroll, Global Mobility and working in an international environment would be a benefit
o Educated to a degree level
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Great analytical and numerical skills
o Proficient in Microsoft office package, particularly Excel
o Organised and methodical with a great attention to detail
o A quick learner with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
o Highly motivated and responsible
o Ambitious and proactive, a great team-player
o Exceptional admin skills
o Fluent in English and any additional languages would be a benefit
Responsibilities / Tasks
You will be reporting to the Global Payroll Account Manager and will assist in the completion of the following tasks:
• Liaison with clients and EMS In country Providers to ensure information is correctly received and that payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner
• Management of data acquisition from clients, processing and administration of client payrolls
• Management of payments on an international payments platform
• Management of the respective country’s reporting & statutory filings as required for each client in conjunction with the specific In Country Provider
• Undertaking of monthly internal and external report reconciliations of client accounts
• Ensuring that vendor charges are in line with the signed agreements, managing any excess fees with ICPs before submission to Finance for processing
• Ensuring that the assigned client clients are up-to-date in terms of ICP invoice payments and verifying invoices to avoid duplicate payments
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of client global payments and payroll administration policies and procedures manuals when required
• Other duties as directed by your Line Manager.
• Reporting regularly to your Line Manager and highlighting any issues/inconsistencies in a prompt manner
• Ensuring that you are fully aware of the company requirements detailed in the Operations Manual, Security Manual and the Employee Handbook
