Support Bank’s Sustainability Framework and Strategy implementation by:
- Helping to develop ESG policies of the Bank including assisting to develop new ESG sector-specific policies and review of ESG risk assessment frameworks, to ensure continued relevance and effectiveness with alignment to the Bank’s risk appetite, business strategy and compliance to regulations.
- Working with relevant internal stakeholders which would include other Risk Management units, Business units and Credit Admin, as applicable, to review, update and implement the policies bank-wide.
- Engaging subsidiaries to ensure prompt adoption and localization of the Group ESG policy and to ensure compliance with Group core standards.
- Coordinating ESG risk related committee meetings, maintain committee Terms of Reference, meeting packs and minutes.
- Providing ESG training, monitor public (eg international and industry best practice standards and principles) and regulatory development of ESG policies.
- Working in a collaborative, cross functional team towards establishing ESG understanding, practices and application of selected international standards/guidelines across the bank.
- Coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders in developing responses and managing the bank’s sustainability indices.

- Minimum 2-4 years working experience in ESG and sustainability areas
- Knowledge of key sustainability issues, ESG international standards/principles and best practices and their relevance to the banking sector
- Academic studies in environmental studies, sustainability and development or direct work experience in sustainability-related practices.
- Effective communication and possess writing skills with clarity.
- Able to work independently, be proactive, able to prioritize and operate under tight deadlines.
