We are hiring a Principal Training/ Education Specialist who will plan, design, develop, and deliver curriculum, content, and programs promoting safe growth and procedural excellence in Orthopaedics. We are looking for a close collaborator, proven strategic thinker, flawless executer, and a committed team player focused on safe patient outcomes and market success. This individual will have some important duties and responsibilities to fulfil, with both short and long-term goals to achieve the educational goals of Kanghui internationally.
The Role:
As a Training/Education Specialist for Kanghui International, you'll need to:
- Shape a robust set of learning curriculums based on a structured learning pathway for internal sales team and distributors to achieve the overall business market objectives
- Deliver sales and product training/educational programs within the calendar year to support overall business objectives
- Develop an in-depth knowledge around clinical and product application
- Serve as subject matter expert of business products and their value proposition to international Markets
- Develop and retain existing KOL relationships for educational activities
- Work strategically - carry out necessary planning to ensure flawless execution of educational events
- Maintain a monthly training and development dashboard
- Budget and manage expenditure for educational events
- Serve as principal custodian to training materials and participants training log
- Manage and maintain logistical/educational assets at optimal status for deployment to planned events
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve targeted outcomes around educational or training
- Identify, follow or develop learning platforms to deliver a robust learning experience according to industry trends and technological developments
- Support the international and in-country marketing teams on product launch initiatives
- Support the in-service of new or existing product line for customers where required
- Support surgical staff with application of products in the operating room across international markets to gain training insights where required
- Attend seminars, workshops, conferences and events locally or abroad where appropriate based on business requirements
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
Your Profile
- Require 3 - 5 years relevant experience in Training & Education within medical device industry (preferably orthopedics) or in a similar capacity
- High-level communication skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to deliver or facilitate adult learning through didactic lectures (classroom/online) online modules and incorporate formats to enhance learning.
- Proven ability in developing learning contents and designing assessment modules
- Ability to utilize digital platforms to delivery online training
- Ability to lift up to 20kg set weight
- Willing to work on weekends and occasional after office hours (to cater to international time zone)
- Willing to travel up to 35% as required
