Job Description


The Project Risk Manager is accountable for identifying, analysing and coordinating to manage all technical, commercial, regulatory, contractual and Covid-19 related risks relating to the Project.
The Project Risk Manager is also responsible to ensure that all major foreseeable project risks during construction are identified, assessed and logged for follow-up reference and mitigation throughout the duration of the Project.
Job Responsibilities:
. Develop project risk management plan in alignment with the client's framework
. Conduct Risk Assessment and management for the construction of the Works including all technical, commercial, regulatory, contractual and Covid-19 related risks relating to the Project.
. Develop, maintain and update the Project Risk Register as project progresses
. Conduct systematic and regular risk assessments and review to enable new risks to be identified and actions re-assessed.
. The risk study shall consider the potential sources of risks arising from planning and regulatory consents, schedule or time, cost, design, procurement, construction and hand-over, their consequences and probability of occurrences and their impact on the project if such risks materialize.
. Identify residual risks which cannot be excluded or avoided and Recommend appropriate contingency allowance in cost and time for such residual risks.
. Ensure that the Project Risk Register indicates the potential mitigation measures with comprehensive explanations for their basis.
. Ensure that major technical, commercial, regulatory, contractual and covid-19 related risks likely to be encountered in the project of such nature, scope and magnitude which could disrupt or delay the Project Programme are identified, assessed and logged for follow-up reference.
. Conduct project risk review meetings at regular intervals to solicit and compile information about the project risks from stakeholders of the Project
. Ensure that relevant information on each foreseeable project risk identified and its appropriate risk mitigation or risk elimination method is communicated to the Employer as soon as possible
. Provide an updated report of key issues arising from each project risk review meetings to the Employer and the relevant stakeholders
Job Requirements:
. Degree in Civil Engineering
. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar is desirable
. PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is advantageous
. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction risk management
. Experience in Marine and Soil Improvement Works
