Job Description :
A Project Officer position is currently available in the School of Humanities.
Job Responsibilities

  • Help to edit, finalize, and organize entries for a projected compendium on Singapore Literature

  • Vet and liaise with student assistants and-or CFS specialists to get more entries and-or translate entries

  • Approach and vet prospective publishers

  • Coordinate and organize a one-day workshop which will feature invited senior researchers

  • Ensure smooth running of workshop. (in accordance with budget)

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Literature and-or Cultural Studies and related majors

  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Skype

  • Good inter-personal skills (officer needs to liaise with student assistants and also with faculty from Singapore and abroad)

  • Good liaison, and coordination skills needed to organize a one-day workshop
