Job Description

About The Role
You will be a family therapist providing therapy to children and their families. List of responsibilities, but not limited to:
.Befriending and engaging with potential clients in the community during assessment and contracting phase
.Provide counselling, interventions for the client during intervention phase
.Provide psychological assessments and conduct training
.Provide consultation services to stakeholders
Reporting structure
Department: Casework and Counselling Department
Reports to Head of Department
Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:
.Ability to work with vulnerable adults, experience in adult mental health and or special needs, conducting cognitive assessments
.Applying a new therapeutic model to work with highly disruptive families, as well as non-traditional working hours
.Strong assessment and report writing skills
Core Competencies:
.Effective interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
.Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver social service outcome
.Take responsibility in helping clients in addressing their needs
Preferred achievements / characteristics:
.Master in Psychology with 2 years experiences in clinical or forensic settings after completion of postgraduate degree is preferred
. Passionate in working with youths and family
