Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

- Manage & track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery

- Prepare a report on purchases

- Inventory management

- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreement with suppliers

- Manage item, purchasing and pricing database in ERP system

- Resolve order and pricing errors with suppliers

- Purchase administrative and documentation support

- Work closely within members of supply chain and ensure product deliver on-time

- Answer enquiries regarding billing issues, product quality, delivery and order enquiries through various channels and systems

- Process orders, forms, enquiries and requests from customers

- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries

- Maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and to establish and create good customer experience

- Create and manage customers account

- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

- Manage customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and follow-up to ensure resolution

Job Requirements:

- Candidates must possess at least Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field

- Proven 1 - 2 years of work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role is preferred

- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

- Good communication skills in English

- Ability to work in collaborative environment that requires you to coordinate with other departments and suppliers

- Good Initiative, analytical and negotiation skills

- Customer-centric mindset and customer service skills

- Willing to take on more tasks/responsibility when the business requires

- Able to learn and improve skills required for the job and consistently develop yourself
