Get to Know The Team
This role is part of Platform Safety & Quality, a regional special projects team within Regional operations. While our team is called Platform Safety & Quality, this team covers safety, quality and driver App (business side).
The Platform Safety and Quality team is a strategic operations team that supports Grab's business verticals and functions, responsible for all safety-related aspects of the platform.
We are focused on our external users - drivers and passengers, we seek to create an everyday app for all of them as Grab grows to become an everyday superapp.
Get to Know The role:
The successful candidate will work closely with country teams and other local stakeholders across the region to define linkages between strategic objectives and process improvements. He/she will collect data, identify gaps, review and redesign processes and explore automation possibilities to improve the efficiency and efficacy of operations. The role will support the team to drive strategic initiatives by re-imagining new or existing operations and solving complex operational problems.
Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Analyse and measure the effectiveness of current operational processes regionally - across all verticals from Transport to Food and Delivery to identify opportunities for standardisation and improvement.

  • Lead project teams to develop and execute sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvement initiatives. This includes ensuring processes are fully enforced and reviewed periodically.

  • Drive standardisation and documentation of processes, ensuring changes are communicated effectively to all stakeholders.

  • Design, lead and execute automation projects to reduce manual processes and automate reporting

  • Design reports and performance measurement dashboards, together with our analytics team, to support the team's operational and strategic projects.

The Must-Haves:

  • Minimally bachelor's degree with preferably 3-6 years of experience.

  • Able to implement effective operational processes and identify opportunities for continuous performance improvement

  • Good with numbers and should be able to analyze trends and recommend business recommendations

  • Excellent problem solving, decision making and analytical skills to develop a variety of complex policies and procedures with minimal guidance.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to exert influence without direct line authority

  • Highly adaptable across situations and industries

  • Proven track record of conceiving, documenting and implementing new processes

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and executive presence to be able to influence leaders across the organization.

  • The ability to analyse and present data comprehensively and accurately, with the drive to execute on actionable findings.

  • The flexibility to work cross-functionally, independently or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment.
