Position Summary:
This candidate is responsible to drive revenue and market share growth of laboratory analytical products and consumables. The role requires one to drive commercial excellence through understanding the market dynamics (products, specifications, competition and pricing), effective management of channel partners, and formulating parallel business plans to compete and win
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with CCS channels and/or direct selling to key accounts to achieve financial targets
  • Manages relationships with key opinion leaders/customers and reference sites
  • Prepare, implement and monitor product portfolio business plan to achieve financial (revenue and margin) targets. This includes, but not limited to, product marketing strategies and tactics including promotion, advertising, pricing and distribution
  • Analyzes product performance, competitive & market development and recommends changes to business plan according to analysis and market/customer trend
  • Responsible for communication between channels and business unit, providing commercial support
  • Liaising with business unit and factories on promotional programs, forecasting, sampling, technical issues and solutions
  • Responsible for providing product forecasts, monitoring and management of channel and local inventory levels to ensure timely supply and customer experience
  • To work and plan with marketing team on developing marketing tools and participation in customer facing events
  • Act as first point of contact for all CCS product related enquiries and work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to address any issues that may arise
  • Undertakes ad hoc duties as assigned by management

  • Minimum qualification is a Degree in Chemistry or related technical discipline
  • At least 3 years of sales and marketing experience, with proven track record of sales achievements
  • Prior commercial experience working with laboratory consumables, chemical sales would be advantageous
  • Highly motivated, independent self-starter, good presentation, communication and negotiation skills, positive can-do attitude and team player preferred
