The Regional Digital Sales & Marketing Controls Analyst is a seasoned professional role who will offer subject matter expertise in the Digital Sales & Marketing process management and controls across APAC and EMEA Regional Businesses (Cards, Loans and Retail Banking). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project , geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.
  • Manage assigned projects focusing on governance for driving digital engagement, customer satisfaction, and revenue by delivering the right offers and communications to our new and existing customers at the right time through more personalized content and smarter targeting using customer interactions
  • Establish the Digital Sales and Marketing (DSM) Third Parties Governance & Management Structure and address gaps of regionally engaged third parties
  • Manage the regional DSM Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) program in accordance with the Operational Risk Management Policy and MCA Standards; and ensure adoption by country DSM teams
  • Drive MCA testing automation where appropriate
  • Extend support to regional and country audit initiatives to provide proper perspective on risks and issues
  • Support the managing of audit/regulatory/self-identified issues through entire lifecycle, from identification, risk assessment, tracking and closure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally - especially DSM teams in country and other Control functional teams
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
  • Respond to ad hoc control related questions from key partners, especially for readouts on key tests and/or recent changes that could heavily impact the associated risks to business
  • Apply critical thinking skills to identify and mitigate potential issues to avoid negative impacts to our customers, internal clients and Brand
  • Ensure quality deliverables are on time

  • 5-8 years of experience working in Banking, Financial services, with depth of knowledge around digital acquisition, advertising and marketing controls
  • Experience in audit management
  • Experience in managing large and complex projects across multiple countries and time zones
  • Exemplary leadership skills to be able to lead, influence and partner with teams across the organization to drive strategy and governance framework

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
