Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine invites applications for:
Research Associate in Developmental Biology
We seek a graduate Research Associate to join an interdisciplinary team funded by a Ministry of Education Tier 3 grant. The research programme aims to generate human organoids that more closely emulate their cognate organs using a multi-disciplinary and comparative interspecies analyses. This project will contribute to the University's mission to broaden the knowledge base that will underpin the development of disease models and regenerative therapies.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting research fellows in the execution of experiments

  • Accurate recording of data generated by experiments

  • Maintenance of zebrafish strains

  • Ordering and maintaining an accurate inventory of reagents

  • Day to day laboratory maintenance

Key Competencies and Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in a biological science

  • 1-2 years post-graduate experience (preferable)

  • Experience of animal husbandry (preferably aquatic species)

  • Experience in molecular biology

  • Experience in microscopy
