School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Associate will be in charge of the development of chassis system, including a brake-by-wire system for advanced mobile robot. The work will also involve the setting up of the hardware-in-the-loop test rig and conducting experiments.
Job Requirements:

  • ​A Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, etc

  • Relevant working experience will be preferred

  • Strong background in vehicle control, robotics and automation

  • Good communications skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate projects with minimal supervision

  • Able to contribute to Journal/Conference papers with good presentation skills

  • Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines
