School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform microbial strain isolation, identification, and fermentation as well as metabolite analysis

  • Address the scientific reports that are related to the project

  • Involve in lab safety management and safety document preparation

  • Write regular reports and good documentation of work are expected

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering/Food Science/Microbiology

  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities

  • Ability to publish conference/journal papers

  • Ability and willingness to train and advise graduates

  • Experience in Microbial strain isolation and identification, Real-time PCR, Fermentation, HPLC operation and GC operation

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
