Job Description :
The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) is seeking a Research Fellow on phase changing materials and robotics.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on a project to use phase changing materials for soft robotic applications

  • Perform manufacturing and testing of the soft robotic systems under different conditions

  • Use numerical simulations to simulate the mechanical response of the soft robotic systems

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering or related fields

  • Minimum 5 years research experience in related area

  • Expertise in thermoelectric conversion system, molecular dynamic simulations and manufacturing

  • Experience in Solidworks, Matlab, LAMMPS, AutoCAD

  • Publication track record is an advantage

  • Proficiency in English
