Job Description :
A Research Fellow position is available in the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
Job Responsibilities
  • Implement and analyze the new converter and its performance
  • Develop new modulation and control techniques
  • Simulate and experimentally validate the results in real-time

  • Novel Power Electronic Converter

  • Research and Development
  • Project report and paper write-up
  • Take active part in paper publication

Job Requirements

  • Possess PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Systems or related disciplines

  • Experience in power electronics conversion systems (preferred)

  • Good mathematical and analytical thinking skills

  • Experience in the control and modulation of power electronics converter

  • Knowledge of basic power electronics converters Such as DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC and AC-AC converters, Multilevel/hybrid multilevel converters and advance controller

Applicants with the following skills will have priority:

  • Experience in advance control techniques for power converters

  • Experience in multilevel converters

  • Experience in hardware hands-on

  • Good programming skills

  • Good technical writing skills
