Job Description
A Research scientist position is available immediately at the IMCB Laboratory for Epigenetics, Stem cells & Cell Therapy. The laboratory is interested in method development for the generation of human iPSCs in accordance to cGMP. For this position, the applicant is expected to advise and consult on cGMP compliant solutions at each phase of the project as well as offer reviews on concepts. Other duties include establishing documentation requirements for GMP qualification and laboratory work related to iPSC generation.
Applicants with relevant background in GMP workflow, Stem cell biology, Haematology, Neurobiology or related fields are invited to apply. Experience with human ESC differentiation and mouse work would be highly desirable. Successful candidates must be highly motivated, have passion for research and be able to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
Job Requirements
.MSc. or Ph.D. in Stem cell biology/Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences
.Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
.Committed and able to work flexible hours
.Ability to conduct high-quality independent research with excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
.Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
