Julian Grey's client is a well-established Japanese trading company that spans more than 100 years, with offices in Asia, specialises in chemical products, semiconductor materials and environment-related products.

Office location: Alexandra

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

Job Description

  • Provide technical assistance & product information to customers
  • Work closely with Japanese suppliers on negotiations & sales quotations
  • Provide sales support in preparing sales quotations and addressing customer's enquiries
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Requirements

  • Main requirement: Able to speak fluently in Japanese to communicate with Japanese suppliers
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience as Technical Engineer or Sales Engineer
  • Highly motivated and driven
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
