Job Description

12 months renewable contract position.
Our Client is looking for candidate who comes from an IT Industry background, someone who understands the global IT organization functionalities.

Looking for candidate to take up a leadership role in driving location strategy projects for a global business function in APAC, in close partnership with business function leaders and the APAC HR Leadership Team.

Candidate will work with the business to improve organization, team and individual effectiveness and provide coaching to the business-area leadership team while ensuring all leaders and people managers are equipped to drive a seamless transition without impact to business outcomes

Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Talent Planning
  • Effectively diagnoses business issues and goals, ensuring people strategy is aligned with the business strategy
  • Takes leadership in driving location strategy project, especially in advising business leaders on impact of location changes from a talent landscape, rewards, employee/labour relations, regulatory and employee engagement perspective
  • Takes a proactive role in the development of HR priorities and supports in the implementation of these, and other major global/regional change programs as required
  • Works with COEs to ensure HR activities are aligned to the people strategy and provides support when required
  • Drives and supports the region/function leadership team in the planning and budgeting activities needed to deliver the people strategy

Change Management
  • Manages and advises on the people aspects of organizational change and transition, recommending process improvements (i.e. growth, reshaping, transition of services/roles/people)
  • Prepares the business and employees in assimilating with cultural shifts and new ways of working for those impacted by the changes
  • Ensures local country compliance requirements as well as client with the company's global compliance program are adhered to

HR Client Services
  • Owns relationship with senior leaders across the region and function
  • Coaches business leaders on how to engage employees and build people capability within their organizations
  • Works with senior leaders to optimize organizational design and drive business performance
  • Develops forward-thinking solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies

Internal HR Relationships
  • Builds and leverages relationships with other HR teams (such as Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Rewards, HR Advisory and HRSS)
  • Partners and brings in resources from HR functions to implement HR solutions that meet the challenges of the business

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant experience at a global company
  • Excellent business acumen and knowledge of working in an IT organization.
  • Experience managing large scale market expansion and new location strategies
  • Executive presence to coach, influence & facilitate organization-wide human capital dialogue
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capability
  • Hands-on leadership with resilience and ability to thrive in a matrix organization
  • Strong skills in presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving
  • Preferably Masters or Bachelors in HR or related field
