OM Materials (S) Pte Ltd (OMS), based in Singapore, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of OM Holdings Limited, that handles the logistics, procurement, marketing, and distribution activities of the Group.

With a long history of marketing ores and ferroalloys, OMS possesses an extensive trade network and an edge in connecting raw materials with buyers and users. Originally established in the 90s focusing on the raw materials trade in China, its scope and range of action have since evolved to a global scale, albeit retaining an Asian focus.

Senior Manager, Group Human Resources Business Partner

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct report to Group HR Director, assisting with HR supervision across subsidiaries and developing group HR strategy
  • Partner with leadership teams to foster growth, create a positive working environment, and promote company culture
  • Proactively assess organizational needs, at times using available data, making recommendations to senior management
  • Develop and maintain group level policies and practices across subsidiaries
  • Work closely with subsidiary HR teams to understand needs, designing effective career plans
  • Implement and supervise HR processes with subsidiary HR teams, working on compensation reviews, performance reviews, training plans, and engagement outreach activities
  • Serve as consultant and coach to managers on people issues, including workforce planning and change management
  • Manage and execute special projects from time to time
  • Travel as and when required to subsidiaries and other locations, up to 20%.


  • Bachelor's degree in HR, or any degree with equivalent experience
  • 10-12 years of relevant working experience, business partner or senior HR experience preferred
  • Analytical, preferably with experience using data to drive action
  • Strong empathy, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent leader comfortable with ambiguity, hands on problem-solver
  • Prior experience in designing HR strategies and helping companies scale.
