As part of the CEO Office, Regional Business Operations a.k.a BizOps is a passionate group of problem solvers at Grab who work on the most critical issues different countries, functions and verticals are tackling. Our projects range from new business launches to large scale transformation programs. The team is involved in strategizing as well as on the ground execution of initiatives in alignment with multiple cross functional stakeholders.
The key highlight of this team/role is the opportunity to build strategy, create high impact change and have unparalleled exposure to senior management, working across a range of verticals and functions within SEA. The team is also known within Grab for its unique cohesive and collaborative work culture.

Get to know the Role:
Project delivery

  • End- to-end ownership and implementation of projects

  • Understand the business requirements and define the project approach

  • Work and align with cross functional stakeholders to achieve the desired project goals

  • Ensure timely execution of the projects and completion of project deliverables


Stakeholder management

  • Conduct data driven and qualitative analysis to provide recommendations

  • Influence decision making with senior stakeholders as well as working teams

Thought partnership

  • Act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders and provide domain/ project expertise knowledge when needed

  • Beyond project delivery & scope, pro-actively contribute towards problem identification and resolution for overall improvement & optimization


The must haves:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree from renowned institute

  • At least 4 years of prior experience in management/ strategy consulting/ tech - F&B, payments, e-commerce businesses

  • Candidates with more than 8 years of relevant experience would be considered for the Senior Manager position

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work and navigate through dynamic/ complex environment

  • Self-driven and motivated individual who can drive project progress

  • Willingness to travel across Grab's markets in SEA (once COVID-19 situation improves and travel opens up)

  • Strong interpersonal/ communications skills to be able to articulate problems and obtain buy-ins from different teams
