Job summary
The Amazon Singapore Hardlines & Media team is looking for a driven, business-centric, and strategic Sr. Program Manager with a proven track record of driving step-change innovations to optimize vendor experiences and customer experiences within the e-commerce space. In this role, you will identify and deliver tools and features that automate & scale retail functions, bring intense focus on improving customer experiences in Hardlines & Media categories, and drive initiatives for long term growth for Amazon Singapore. You will work with business, product, and operations teams both in Singapore and around the world.
To be successful in this role, the Sr. Program Manager needs to demonstrate a unique combination of strategic, commercial, and operational acumen. He/She should have experience and excellent judgement in prioritizing between customer & vendor experience, business needs, operational excellence to maximize business impact.
Key job responsibilities
He/She should be able to:
. identify and prioritize tools and features which have the potential to scale Retail function.
. diagnose process improvement opportunities and clearly articulate change management potential.
. dive-deep into product launch inefficiencies and customer experience analytics and building the data insights to guide new tools and features development.
. drive adoption of such tools/features within business teams and quantify impact (ROI or savings).
. partner with Programs, Merchandising, and WW Amazon teams to innovate on behalf of Hardlines (Consumer Electronics, Home & Kitchen. Media) customers.
Basic Qualifications :
. 5+ years of experience in Vendor Management/Consulting/Program Management/Project Management.
. Master's degree in business, operations, merchandising, economics or a related discipline.
. Adept at cross-functional stakeholder management and highly effective in communications with senior or strategic partners.
. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Possess excellent judgement and strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and a data-driven analytical approach.
. A passionate, self-starter, ready to take Amazon's local customer experience to the next level.
. Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment. Strong retail background with proven ability to drive change.
Preferred Qualifications :
. Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
. Industry background in Internet commerce.
. Proficient in Excel, SQL, and Data Warehouse.
. Proven experience leading cross-functional projects, teams, and negotiations.
. High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment - figuring it out and adapting as you go.
