About the Team

You'll make impactful decisions by mixing mind and machine to leverage data, understand and navigate risk, and help our clients gain a competitive edge.

Your Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement Data Governance frameworks and processes to manage data throughout its lifecycle

  • Develop and set standards to enable collaboration with businesses and technology and industry stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of data governance and advocate data management practices

  • Conduct and participate in workshops, requirements gathering sessions, proposal preparation with appointed internal and external stakeholders to implement data management solutions (metadata management, reference data management, master data management, data lineage, data profiling and quality, business glossary)

  • Work with stakeholders to set guidelines to carry out protocols and practices

  • Bridge the gap between business and technology to achieve safeguarding of sensitive data through business standards

  • Generate and manage domain maps, archive key data and their stakeholders

  • Perform PMO for implementation for various data governance pillars such as data quality standard setting, business glossary development and data governance tooling implementation

  • Guide a team and liaise with key service providers

  • Develop and conduct data governance trainings and associated communication rollouts to industry stakeholders

Role Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience of working in the Data Management or Data Governance roles

  • Experience of utilising global & industry governance frameworks and maturity models such as - DAMA, DCAM, ARMA, CMMi or similar

  • Knowledge on Data Governance tools and technologies, especially tools related to data quality, metadata management, business glossary and lineage

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Computing, Data Analytics or related disciplines

  • Develop enterprise level data strategy, best practices, target operating models and charters

  • Apply Data Governance and Data Management across multiple industries, with focus on financial services domain and related products

  • Focused approach to problem solving which must include flexibility while maintaining keeping focus on priorities defined by business value

  • Understanding of information management practice, data related regulatory requirements and its implication

  • Experience or familiarity with data warehouse and data management tools
