Job Description :
1. Client Facing / Business Development
  • Collaborate with Business Development (BD) and Key Account Management (KAM) in proactive customer identification and engagement strategies.
  • Contribute to strategic planning activities to drive business growth in assigned TA, account(s) or geographic area.
  • In collaboration with BD and KAM, lead and/or participate in customer meetings as therapeutic expert and customer relationship executive.
  • Lead the development of the therapeutic strategy and content of proposals in collaboration with BD and Proposals to provide compelling operational delivery strategies and drug development solutions for customers.
  • Collaborate with BD, Global Deal Management and Finance to provide innovative / tailored pricing solutions.
  • Review and sign off on proposals ahead of approval by TA Head/Key Accounts Head/BU Head.
  • Review and contribute to the building of study budgets ahead of approval by TA Head/Key Accounts Head/BU Head
  • Lead and/or participate in bid defence preparation meetings and bid defence meetings as therapeutic expert and customer relationship executive.
  • Participate in BD/Operations hand over meetings.
  • Liaise with other therapeutic specialists, strategy leads, CREs and TA Heads to ensure consistency of approach and development and implementationof best practice across oncology clinical development segments.
  • Act as the senior executive in the management of ongoing customer relationships for assigned projects / accounts, including sitting on Governance bodies and/or attending senior level meetings.
  • Provide a point of escalation above the Project Director and collaborate with Global Operations, BD, Finance and other departments as relevant to provide solutions to operational delivery and/or financial issues and customer relationship management.

2. Therapeutic Knowledge and KOL engagement
  • Provide therapeutic advice to customers and internal teams as needed.
  • Maintain strong oncology therapeutic knowledge through literature review and attendance at key external therapeutic meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain, develop and leverage relationships with key thought leaders / KOLsin relevant oncology types.

3. Internal Innovation
  • Develop creative and innovative solutions to clinical development challenges to drive value to the customer.
  • Contribute to development of new solutions which promote the BAM model, collaborating across the Clinical and Commercial Solutions divisions.
  • Contribute to the activities of the Oncology Center of Excellence, as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’sdegree in life sciences or medicine with a specialisation in the therapeutic area; advanceddegreepreferred. Minimum 10 years industry experience with 5 years project management experience. Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
  • Sound, up-to-date knowledge of the scientific, clinical and regulatory landscape of assigned TA
  • Proven track record of operational delivery
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills
  • Knowledge of all applicable clinical research and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to provide leadership in a matrix environment
  • Good communication skills with excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Innovative and creative thinker.
