Our client is a global manufacturer of semiconductor equipment. This rapidly expanding company is looking for a talented Senior / Electrical Engineer to take on a newly created role.

- Responsible for circuit topology, component selection, PCB design, prototyping
- Conduct analysis for design cost reduction
- Apply engineering skills and technology to the product design process
- Design, develop, prototype, and test of the required subsystem and its interface to the system
- Design multilayer PCB layout for mixed analog, digital and RF designs
- Work from preliminary schematics, prototypes, parts lists, basic description of PCB functions, configuration as well as schematics captured from napkin drawings
- Optimize product design to reduce cost of manufacturing & suitable for DFM
- Build prototypes and conduct full PDLC (from schematic design to product launch)
Jobs requirement
- Master / Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Min 4 years in schematic design, product testing and certification, candidates with more years of experience will be consider for senior / staff position
- Understand about PCB / PCBA designing
- Knowledge with firmware testing & design will be a plus
- Experience with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART etc
- Design, develop and build electronic test systems
- Ability to apply design/development tools as required (FMEA, 8D Methodology,etc)
- Project Management experience will be a plus
- FPGA design experience will be a plus
