The Strategic Account Director, Enterprise will be responsible for selling the company's products and services in Singapore. The account coverage will be focused on a set of named and large accounts in the Financial Services Industry. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree and should have 10 years of industry background with at least five of those in enterprise software sales. The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences. This position will report to the Director of Sales, Enterprise and Commercial Sector.

- Primary driver for VMware business within a territory of Named Enterprise Accounts in FSI.
- Effectively lead and engages internal executives, engineering resources to garner support to resolve complex issues and scale the business through collaboration across all VMware business units.
- Solution sell to Named Hunting and Farming account sets, expanding on Multi Cloud, App Modernization and Security Initiatives.
- Manages tactical business while investing in larger, longer term strategic opportunities.
- Be Operationally Excellent in the day-to-day running of the business including ( but not limited to) forecasting, pipeline development, collaboration, team-work and best practice sharing.
- Overseas and implements business case & value selling strategies which aligns the customer's needs, up to the Board/ C-Suite, to VMware solutions and services including the development of business cases with specific metrics & ROIs identified. Responsible for developing the executive relationship with C-suite in the assigned accounts.
- Manages all aspect of the Named Enterprise Accounts, opportunity, pipeline development / progression, forecasting and reporting in SFDC.

- 10 years of experience in enterprise/software sales
- Strong written and oral English ability
- Expertise in both channel and direct sales
- Strong ability to lead sales engagement as a team in a matrixed organization
- Significant track record of accomplishment selling in the enterprise market
- Proven track record in exceeding quota and selling mega deals in this sector
- Strong knowledge of consultative solution sales that gets results
