About the Company/ Role

Client is a leading player in the manufacturing sector with strong global operations and they are located in the west.
With expansion plans ahead, they are now looking to hire a well experienced Team Lead for the Network and Infrastructure team based in Singapore.
The Team lead will be in charge of maintaining the environment by identifying any IT Related issues and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
The main task will be to focus on network & server requirements, installing upgrades, monitoring system & network performance and implementation of IT Security Projects for cyber security purposes.
The role requires someone who is technically strong with the ability to lead a team of 8 staffs. In the absence of team members, the Team Lead will be required to cover and ensure projects are well delivered. The team lead will build relationships, and work very closely with stakeholders to provide the best support required.
The successful candidate will report to the Functional Head who sits in the Regional Office and work along with a Site Manager based in Singapore on the day to day requirements.
The ideal candidate should be someone who is approachable, independent and a go - to person with hands on experience.
To be successful in the role:

  • You should ideally be Degree qualified with 5 years of experience in Systems, Network and IT Security roles (1-2 years of team leading exposure will be essential)
  • Well versed in System Administration of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Nutanix and AIX will be an added advantage.
  • Open to work in the West.
