Job Description

The Central Product Platform team provides centralized platforms and services for our products. We are building end-to-end solutions that highly impact the core components of the product, including but not limited to: Identity & Access Platform, Notification Platform, Geolocation Platform, Social Platform, Middle Platform Infrastructure. All platforms need to handle information at a massive scale and extend well beyond business scenes.

We are building large-scale general shared technology platforms, supporting various products with the capability to do rapid iteration and quick exploration. At the same time, we are also working on engineering challenges across scalability, reliability, security and system performance, as well as a wide variety of business challenges. On this team, you will be a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what is right.


- Be an effective and mindful manager for a team of high-performance engineers.

- Working closely with various teams to define and execute roadmaps.

- Lead the team to deliver high-impact projects among increasing dependencies and ambiguities.

- Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and completion of complex technical projects.

- Recruit world-class talent and provide mentorship to team members.

- Able to work in the cross-functional partnership with other function leaders across the company.

- Inspire, cultivate and promote high-productivity team working practices and high-standard engineering principles.


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

- 6+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management in backend development.

- 6+ years experience coding in one of the following languages: Go, C++, Java, Python and/or PHP.

- Experience in designing and building distributed systems of a certain scale.

- Experience in backend reliability, efficiency, quality and/or performance work.

- Experience in leading highly-complex, technically-challenging, cross-functional software oriented projects from inception to delivery is a plus.

- Experience in recruiting engineering talent and building high-performance teams.

- Strong coordination and priorization skills along with multi-tasking abilities to deliver goals in a fast paced environment.

- Proven solid communication skills with peers, reports and leaders.
