Personal secretary jobs entail working for executives or managers and taking care of a gamut of administrative tasks. A candidate applying for the job of a personal secretary generally does everything from organizing things at work to acting as the first point of contact. The senior managers or executives can entrust a personal secretary to take away administrative tasks so that they can spend their time productively on a lot of strategic tasks. The personal secretary needs to manage diaries as well as organize meetings and appointments. Not just that, s/he often controls access to the top management namely the manager/executive. From booking and arranging travel, to managing transport and accommodation, it all falls under the purview of a personal secretary. S/he will also be required to organize events as well as conferences as also remind the manager/executive of pending as well as important tasks and deadlines that need to be catered to.
